Deep roots in arboriculture

Treecycling Solutions is run by sole director Jordan Thomas. With his father and brother both being arborists, Jordan has deep roots set in arboriculture.

Born in New Zealand and growing up in England, Jordan migrated to Australia at the age of 18. He spent many years travelling around Australia working with trees, honing his craft before settling down in sunny Adelaide.

That hands-on background — climbing, pruning and removing trees of every size — is what Jordan now brings to consulting. He holds an AQF Level 5 Diploma of Arboriculture and is a member of Arboriculture Australia.

Treecycling focuses solely on consulting, reports and habitat advice. Because we don't sell tree work, there's no incentive to recommend a removal — the advice is about what the tree and your site actually need.

Every consultation and report is carried out by Jordan personally, so you deal with the person who assessed your tree from first call to final report.

Jordan believes a tree's value doesn't end when it comes down. Over the years that has meant milled slabs, a log cabin, furniture, lamps made from hollow branches, firewood and mulch — giving would-be waste a second life.

The same thinking shapes the advice today: retain what can be retained, protect the habitat trees provide, and make the most of what can't be kept.
